Truth Unanswered Question
Much of human life is focussed upon trying to discern what is true – of our feelings, our experiences, our relationships, the world around us. Recent concern about ‘post truth’ and ‘fake news’ indicate the challenge and the complexity of this search.
When Jesus stood before Pontius Pilate and was asked ‘what is truth?’ He was silent. Truth cannot be captured by a simple answer. Rather truth is discerned through pursuing a journey, which Jesus calls ‘the way’. Truth unfold through being willing to recognise and receive signs: annunciations of the way, the truth, the life.
This book explores some of the contours of the journey, and why they offer good news amongst our particular struggles with personal identities and political pluralism.
