Overview

Dr (Fr) Mayank Parmar, S.D.B., born in 1976 in Karamsad, Gujarat, to Simonbhai Parmar and Fulkeriaben, is a dedicated priest and social worker committed to empowering marginalised communities. He began his education at R.C. Mission Primary School, Karamsad, and continued at St Mary's High School, Nadiad, completing his higher secondary studies. He earned a degree in English Literature from Gujarat University, followed by a Master's in Social Work (MSW) from Pune University. His academic journey culminated with a PhD from Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar, focusing on women's empowerment and community development through Self- Help Groups (SHGs).
