Musings and Markings- Musings and Markings is a collection of poetic reflections and essays published in several reputed journals and magazines in recent years. In his Foreword, Prof. Dr. Mathew Chandrankunnel CMI, Director, ECC, Bangalore, qualifies the book as the Eco-Theo-Spiritual oeuvre of the author which presents the crises of our culture and gives solution s from his own remarkable and vast experience. In his erudite reflections, Prof. Dr.Zac Varghese of London, writes: “The book is like beautiful forest, difficult to define; to an indigenous tribe, it is their sacred history; to a lumberjack, it is a paycheque; to a bird watcher, it is an opportunity to enjoy a rare bird; to a spiritual person, it is a much needed place for meditation and communion with Nature and God.” Rev. Dr. M.Joseph, B.Sc; B.D; M.Th; D.Th is a former Director of the Ecumenical Christian Centre Bangalore. He also served as Professor and Principal of the Mar Thoma Theological Seminary, Kottayam, Kerala. Dr. Joseph did his doctoral degree in New Testament from the Senate of Serampore University. He is the first Registrar of the Federated Faculty for Research in Religion and Culture (FFRRC) in Kerala. Dr. Joseph held several responsible positions in the Church and in the academic world. He was a member of the Faith and commission of the World Council of churches and a former Secretary of the Board of Theological Education of the Senate of Serampore College. He is the Former Convener of the Ecological Commission of the Mar Thoma Church for a decade. He is the author of several articles and books. His book of poems and meditations are available in Malayalam, English and German. He has travelled widely and attended several national and international consultations.
